Project Cancellation & Pricing Policy

Dear Authors,

Before confirming the booking of any project, the applicable book price and related charges will be clearly communicated to the author in advance.

The project will be confirmed only after the author has reviewed and approved these details.

Therefore, once the project has been confirmed and the work has commenced, requests to cancel the project on the grounds that the applicable price is higher than expected will not be accepted.

Project Cancellation

If, after the project has been confirmed, the author decides to cancel the entire project due to any personal reason:

- An additional ₹3,000 Cancellation Charge must be paid.

- The ₹3,000 Cancellation Charge will not be deducted from any amount already paid.

- This amount will be treated as an additional charge for project cancellation.

- The Project Cancellation Request will be officially accepted and further cancellation procedures will be initiated only after the Cancellation Charge has been paid.

Once the Cancellation Request has been officially approved, the information related to the concerned book on the Akshara Publishing House website will be reviewed and updated in accordance with the cancellation status.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before printing or dispatch.

Once the book is printed or dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

Cancellation requests must be made through official communication channels.

1. ​Full Refund: A full refund of the amount paid is applicable only if requested before the editorial process has commenced.
2. ​Partial Refund: Once the editorial process has begun, only 50% of the total amount paid will be eligible for a refund upon cancellation.
3. ​Finality: No refunds will be processed once the book has been sent for printing or layout finalization.
